Don Catador runs on clearly marked ads and sometimes commissions when you click our links. Here's what that means for you.

What a site can buy

• A spot in the Sponsored section of a category or country. It always carries that label and stays separate from the ranking.
• An affiliate link. It doesn't change what you pay.

What a site can't buy

• Its score or spot in the ranking. The list order comes only from the score on the scorecard.
• Getting us to delete a negative review.
• Making us stop reporting verification or safety issues.
