I see it as weak from the repeated scam complaints, better check other spots where you don't risk as much.
In short. Prepagos.com (prepagos.com) is a site in the classifieds category that works in all of Colombia (mainly Bogotá, Medellín, Cali); all of Ecuador; all of Mexico. What I checked: some verified photos; direct contact with every advertiser; free for visitors; works without signing up; only partly verifies identity; I found several obviously fake profiles while testing it; moderated client reviews; you can report profiles. Advertiser rates: 70,000 to 160,000 COP per hour. Warning: Repeated advance scams and extortion via WhatsApp after contact. Complaints in multiple sources from 2024 until May 2026, with similar cases reported by several users. Don Catador score: 5.0 out of 10 (weak); verification 3.0, profile quality 4.5, ease of use 7.5, price transparency 9.0, coverage 8.0, safety and privacy 2.0. Reviewed on August 23, 2026.

Don Catador's take on Prepagos.com
Prepagos.com has one issue that overshadows the rest: advance scams and extortion that users have reported since 2024, with cases still popping up on forums. There are over 800 profiles listed in Colombia with rates starting at 70,000 COP per hour that show clearly in each ad. Contact comes direct via WhatsApp or Telegram with no sign-up.
Profiles display photos, service details, and current availability. Many carry verification badges, but complaints mention stolen photos and repeated ads that stick around. The site covers Colombia hard in Bogota, Medellin, and Cali, plus Ecuador and Mexico, though most ads stay in the first country.
Each profile lists its price before you write, between 70,000 and 160,000 COP per hour. No payment needed to view contacts or browse.
It works smooth on your phone: filters by city and zone, and WhatsApp or call buttons sit right there. The layout stays simple with no pop-ups.
Even with all the ads and easy contact, the repeated reports of fake profiles and WhatsApp scams mean it is not worth it. Better check other spots where you don't risk as much on the contact.
Catador score: 5.0.
Is Prepagos.com legit?
No. The profiles do not come across as reliable because many fakes with stolen photos keep showing up.
Even though the site shows "ID verified" badges and claims to verify identity and age, the complaints show that does not clean up the repeated or fake ads. There are thousands of active profiles in the Bogota list with prices and details visible, but outside reports agree a big portion does not match real people.
Is Prepagos.com safe?
No. Using it can cost you due to the advance scams users report.
After messaging on WhatsApp, some profiles block and demand payments to proceed or continue, with documented extortion cases. Reddit describes scam with simulated payment Another post mentions blocks after clicking WhatsApp Warnings about advances in profiles Forum reports 90% fake profiles and scams Reports of fake profiles and scams. The site has a report button, but the issues keep appearing in multiple sources up to 2026.
